A 27-year-old man has been indicted in the gang-related shooting death of a man outside a strip club in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (http://bit.ly/KA0tmF ) a Clark County grand jury on Friday indicted Terrell Durr on a charge of murder with the intent to assist a criminal gang.
Police say 53-year-old Robert Turman was shot and killed Nov. 27 outside the Deja Vu club west of the Strip. He was standing in the club’s valet parking area after being asked to leave following an altercation.
The indictment alleges Durr is affiliated with the Donna Street Crips.
Durr also was indicted on a charge of attempted murder in the shooting of another man in the foot at the same time.

Las Vegas Strip Clubs: Striptease instructors sue for videotaping

Five instructors of a Las Vegas “Stripper 101″ class are suing the class producer for allegedly videotaping their pole dancing and striptease exercises.
The instructors, in their suit, allege they were told there was no separate changing room, and that the classroom, part of the V Theater in the Miracle Mile Shops, was a private space, citing signs that prohibited cameras.
The suit says instructors discovered two hidden cameras in the room on Jan. 14. After complaining to the management, instructor Rachel Carter learned the cameras fed video into an office computer, which was monitored by managers.

“The allegations that the video cameras were installed in the ‘Stripper 101′ classroom surreptitiously and to conduct ‘covert video surveillance’ of the plaintiffs is false,” the dismissal motion says. “They are security cameras installed and used for that purpose.”

The “Stripper 101″ motion for dismissal, however, said security video surveillance is commonplace at casinos and shows, yet ”plaintiffs somehow believe the defendants violated their rights to privacy and engaged in conduct that is inconsistent with the general rules of civility.”
Arledge on Friday said the five independent contractor exotic dance instructors suing “Stripper 101″ still work there and that ”the instructors do have an area other than the classroom where they may change clothes.”

It features professional exotic dancers teaching pole dancing, lap dancing and striptease techniques. Nudity is not involved, though participants are advised to wear shorts or a skirt and high heels, the “Stripper 101″ website says.

Rapper Akinyele, best known for his explicit 1990s hit “Put It In Your Mouth,” recently launched a new gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas and is raking it in.
According to AllHiphop.com, Lollypop’s was launched during the Mayweather/Cotto fight weekend with Cliff Dutton and Jay. And, that first week was a big one too.
The rapper claims they’ve generated more than $5 million already.
“We decided to officially launch LollyPops and align ourselves during the Mayweather vs. Cotto fight weekend and I can proudly say there are now two winners,” said Akinyele.
“We’ve been thrilled and amazed to see lines of both men and women still coming at 8 a.m. and this has been every single night, better yet morning I should say, over the past 10 days,” he added.
