Sin City poll respondents say no to hash bars
There’s enough sin in Sin City already. That seems to be the sentiment of most of those responding in a new poll about Las Vegas.
An overwhelming 79 percent said they don’t want Dutch-style hash and pot bars in Vegas. Another 19 percent like the idea of legalized weed.
Sixty-four percent oppose legal brothels in Las Vegas. But 30 percent of those asked say legalizing prostitution would be a way to increase tourism. Brothels are now legal in some rural Nevada counties.
The poll was conducted for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and KLAS-TV.
