Las Vegas Strip Clubs: Erin Kenny going free

After two and a half years in federal custody, former County Commissioner Erin Kenny is scheduled for release Friday morning. Meanwhile, one of her successors is launching a bold effort to bring openness and honestly to Nevada politics.
Most people don’t even know it’s there. The facility is directly behind Circus Circus on Industrial Road. It looks like an office building but is actually a halfway house of sorts for non violent felons like Kenny who have been moved from federal prison.
“You know, I’m pretty old fashioned. I don’t believe money can buy everything.”
Despite what she said in that old sound bite, Erin Kenny did make money her top priority, becoming one the biggest bribe takers in Las Vegas history.
Kenny pleaded guilty in the G-Sting scandal. She admitted that strip club boss Michael Galardi paid her for influence on matters that affected his business.
